My Name is L.C. Bogard, II and I decided to design and implement the National Soccer Solution. As a parent of two (2) Travel/Advanced players, listening to other parents while sitting on the sidelines of 100s of games, I must have heard parents asking over 1000 times – just what are we getting for all of the money and time we are spending on soccer, which we do love by the way? So, I am providing the exciting, solid low cost solution. My mission was to design and deliver a better training Mouse Trap (System) or better yet, Hybrid Free Will Enterprise. I came up with this idea while watching Coach Armanté, an Assistant Coach at Jacksonville University as he was training my son. After just two lessons, my son demonstrated the finishing move and skills that he was taught during a game setting and his entire mental perspective was different as the game started to slow down for him while he was on the field.
Then one day, just weeks later, I was watching a Practice/Scrimmage and saw another player execute a similar move as I was speaking with his Mom and when I saw the move – I stopped dead in my tracks and asked her, “Is your son one of Armanté babies” and she was just floored/puzzled. I explained to her that the move I had just seen her son execute was the very same move that Coach had taught my son during his first training session and simply because he was hungry to learn and at that point a solid Club System product. He was more importantly passionate about learning soccer. She was shocked. How could anyone know who had trained her son and just by watching her son play for 5 minutes? Well that revelation or “Ah Ha” Moment became the basis for our company and its International Master Technical Skills Training and Certification Training Academy and our decision to combine our training initiative with the mentoring of Student Athlete (College Campus Sports). Soccer Up America ™ was born that very day as I realized that I no longer needed their help or permission to get involved in the Beautiful Game. I had a plan that took root in my soul. And the rest was history……[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Goals and Purpose” tab_id=”1535611786608-7e56060c-4b86″][vc_column_text]Improve U.S. Player Education; College Admissions; Technical Skills and Passion for the Beautiful Game though our patented Master Technical Skills Training Academy System[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How Do We Differ? ” tab_id=”1535611958784-eb0bb14e-e218″][vc_column_text]We are the first and only soccer organization in the country to literally Standardize Soccer and we can also obtain College Scholarships for players in as fast as a day.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Soccer in the U.S. – Statistics & Fast Facts” tab_id=”1535612099085-4462a511-a599″][vc_column_text]1)- Soccer – football outside of the United States – is one of the most popular sports in the world. The sport’s origins trace back to the second half of the 19th century in Britain. Prevalent in Europe and South America, the sport has enjoyed a growing popularity among Americans. More teenagers are playing soccer in the U.S. than ever before. The number of participants in U.S. high school soccer programs has recorded an all-time high in the 2016/17 season, with over 800 thousand boys and girls playing the sport across the country.
2)- The women’s national soccer team performance in the last decade is one of the reasons the sport’s popularity has risen in the U.S. The women’s national soccer team is currently considered the best women’s soccer team in the world, according to FIFA’s ranking of national soccer teams. The men’s national team, on the other hand, is not as successful as the women’s team, ranking mid tier in FIFA’s world rank.
3)- Major League Soccer (MLS) is the main professional soccer league in North America, and has seen its popularity rise over the past few years. Average per game attendance at MLS games stood at around 22 thousand, which is more than the NBA and the NHL average game attendance. When comparing average MLS game attendance to other soccer leagues around the world, the North American league is still behind. For example, the German Bundesliga, the best attended soccer league in the world, has an average of 41.5 thousand fans per game.
4)- The LA Galaxy and Seattle Sounders are two of the most prestigious teams in the MLS. They lead the league in revenue with 63 million U.S. dollars and 53 million U.S. dollars respectively, as well as in team value. LA Galaxy is the only team with five MLS Cup trophies. Players such as David Beckham and Landon Donovan, considered one of the best American soccer players of all-time, were part of the LA Galaxy roster in the past.
5)- In many parts of the world soccer is known as football, or even American football.
6)- It is the most popular sport in the world, being played in more than 200 countries.
7)- Approximately 250 million people play soccer around the world every year, and it has been an Olympic sport since 1900.
8)- It has also been a Paralympics sport since 1984.
9)- When playing soccer, two teams of 11 players try to score a goal with a spherical ball on a rectangular field with a goal net at both ends. Players have to score without the use of their hands or their arms. Only the goalies are allowed to touch the ball with their hands.
10)- In the early 1800s, soccer was invented in Newgate Prison in London by prisoners who had been punished for stealing. Their punishment had been to have their hands cut off.
11)- A soccer ball has 32 panels; each one represents one of the 32 countries in Europe.
12)- The first soccer nets were actually wicker baskets.
13)- Up until 1908, they made soccer balls from the (inflated) stomach tissue from executed prisoners.
14)- The USSA was the first American professional soccer league. They played from 1919 for two years. They were paid $0.35 every time they scored.
15)- Soccer fields are called pitches. Pitch and slope have the same meaning in soccer. If the field is a regulation field, it slopes 5 degrees up, from one end of the field to the other.
16)- Teams switch goal nets during the game so they both have the same uphill slope for half the game.
17)- Originally the World Cup was made of paper Mache.
18)- The heavy rain in the 1950 competition ruined the cup and it had to be replaced.
19)- A 13-year-old Brazilian soccer player scored every goal of 23 in total, during a game that his team won 23-0.
20)- In 1998, a lightning bolt killed an entire team during a soccer game. The 11 players of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Nobody on the opposite team was hurt.
21)- A bad referee call in a game in 1964 in Peru caused a riot that resulted in the deaths of 300 people.
22)- A goal scored after people had begun to leave the stadium during a game in 1982 in Moscow resulted in the deaths of hundreds of people. When the goal was scored and people tried to get back to their seats, the result was stampede and 340 people died.
23)- In one game it is common for a player to run approximately 6 miles. This would be equal to running back and forth on a basketball court 350 times.
24)- Soccer is even popular in third world countries. If villages cannot afford a soccer ball, they will use balls that they’ve made with diapers or rags.
25)- Until 1991, soccer was an illegal sport in Mississippi.
26)- Professional soccer players were not allowed in the Olympics until 1984.
27)- They were permitted to play as long as they were in the Under-23 level.
28)- Women soccer teams have been able to play in the Olympics since 1996.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”What We Do and How Our System Works” tab_id=”1535612363247-812db52e-3579″][vc_column_text]Why not allow us to super charge your child’s collegiate recruitment process. I just would like a special window or area that highlights premium subscription holders. We could consider having a window for the top sponsors and even a special room for such vendors. I also do need a questionnaire button that is linked to each schools questionnaire as schools all ask for their forms to be filled out so they know a player is TRULY interested in their school. That is an important first step to letting Coaches know that potential student Athletes are seriously thinking about or are even considering or may even have already decided to attend their college so that they do not waste their time and ultimately their financial resources. I think that each Authorized Staff Rep will also provide that info when they sign up for their school’s free basic member ships. The reason why our school memberships are free for now is so that we can quickly build up our ability to match colleges with student Athletes much faster and we should advertise limited Free Sign-up Period for school. We can also input the information manually into the online College Campus Sports™ system when it is built and ready for such information. We will input Coaching Staff Names; Email Addresses; Cell Phones; Office Phones; School Names; Personal Bios and other Demographic information that is already readily available from their school athletic websites. This means that each site visitor should be able to see the names of each university or College that is listed in our system and we will update that list on almost a daily basis. This will allow us and others to use the app the day that we enter our first colleges. We at this moment have just started to build that database or by that I mean collect the data this must be input. Of course, it is preferred that you pull most of the data and information from other sources as that would allow us to be up and running in just days, Then we could manually add additional information that could not be pulled in. This must or should be an automated and continual administrative process because this access is what our clients are actually paying for so this function must be as accurate and up to date as possible and at all times.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Soccer Up America Student Athlete College Campus or College Campus Sports (Soccer) Connect™” tab_id=”1535613209951-ee2bb62a-a9d7″][vc_column_text]
- One of the TOP goals of the website is to make the sending out of player information 100 times Faster than other recruiting sites. This alone will significantly increase scholarship offers and college admission for our players as the faster they can get their information into a Coaches hands the faster they can earn or receive an offer or even just critical time sensitive information fast by using our service instead of the others. Such factors should be highlighted on our page and in our system. So, we want our players; clients and their parents to ask, “why use them” (Other recruiting sites)? Initially. our Sales Reps will be responsible for signing up Coaching Staffs Free of Charge. A one year free trial!
This must all be tied in or linked to the player profile/résumé/Scorecards and the Coaches Corner. As for the recruiting session we must add in flexibility and just have them send out player profiles to all schools or by level D-1; D-2; D-3; NAIA; JUCO and Christian University System is a special classification/designation that is missing from other services, but that we will add to our list/database. We should also build in other factors that players would like to use when selecting colleges such as regional locations; climate; Distance from their location; HBCU; Christian; Non Denominational; no religious Affiliation; Classroom Size as in a specified number. These parameters will be dynamic in nature and will be managed by the administrator.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Get Started Today! I have personally listened to parents and coaches talk about a failing soccer system and all the travel, injuries, time and money being spent and for what? They openly speak about the fact that their children are still as lacking in their technical skills today as when they started playing soccer 6-8 and as long as over 10 years ago. That is a disgrace because every child can learn all the International skills by the age of 8 and this lack of training focus is the real reason why U.S. Soccer will continue to implode. I realized that we (the system) all have forgotten about the kids and families. So, I decided to fix or for the lack of a better word improve and hopefully change the game that I absolutely adore. I decided to work to take the game to its true glory; full potential and place it on the right track needed for global dominance. I started the company this year (2018); after successfully helping my daughter obtain a D-1 soccer scholarship by MYSELF while her club was off thinking about winning Club Championships so they can increase their size and earn more revenues while competing against and taking over all the other clubs. All, I kept thinking was that they can’t see the forest for the trees with all that jockeying and in-fighting along with what seems to be like endless discussions, meetings, conferences and seminars. They keep talking and all I can hear is NOISE. They could not filter through all of their own noise to deliver a long term National cost effective solution with new player pathways and access to soccer for all children and families.
In fact, I seemed and/or appeared to me that no one even cared what I thought because I was a parent and I was an outsider who never played the game. They knew everything and I knew nothing, but they did not know me nor my background and success at building systems and identifying solutions that resolved issues and challenges which began as an Cadet Officer in R.O.T.C. and ended with my service as a U.S. Army Major at age 31. They never even cared to ask.
In fact, I knew a Coach that even today after years of my observing the game, whenever I start to speak after years of listening to him speak and Coach, all he still does, is say, “Let me stop you right there”. “You talk way too much”! And I never get to say anything! So then he would speak and I would try to tell him to let me talk to no avail! All, I can now figure is that the reason that I am now talking at all is that I stopped listening to and speaking with him. So now I have a huge amount of data, information opinions and vision to download. When did Americans develop such a prideful elitist attitude and perspective that is absolutely killing the game and has resulted in a climate of the “Haves and the Have Nots” and the “Relevant and Non Relevant,” people and “Yes” I said people. Both Race and Class Based Socio-economic Perceived Unfairness is rampant within the culture and poor populations with financial concerns including obstacles to learning and participation the game are now starting to resonate at the national level to the point that our men’s team cannot connect with lower class or general population and that is a recipe for disaster.
So now after working for myself for over 20 years, I set out to help my own children and once realized that I could do that by myself and with my children in REC (the lowest level of soccer); at a significantly reduced cost or on scholarship and zero travel, I was done with travel tryouts and advanced soccer. I was through trying to “Fit” in as I was round peg and the system was a square hole. I was through trying to ask for permission and for help while offering my system for free. I made calls for over a year and waited for the phone to ring – which it never did.
Today my children attend ALL Club and High School Try-outs to see just where they stand in their progression against other kids and for feedback from the Adult Coaching professionals. They tossed their egos and are now focused on the bigger picture – training for YEARS to someday make the U.S. Team at age 26-28 and before that even possibly play Professional Soccer and/or earn a college scholarship. Besides playing High School soccer and REC, Pick-up games at the local park is just as or even more rewarding for them as kids/developing soccer players as there are no adult coaches screaming out instructions to them from the sidelines and no referees on the field either – just like soccer is played in the Barrios of Brazil. In fact, we the parents walk the track and look at them while they play against players of all ages, but without fear of censorship or even injury. They play because of their own passion for the game and when Sundays and Thursdays roll around, they ask if they can go back out to the park so that they can play again and even when injured.
They never accept offers to play advanced club soccer, because they now also “Get it”. They are not fooling themselves as they can see with their own eyes that they are not ready to be called the best the game has to offer. The U.S. system is good at developing the solid player, but is flawed and limited in it’s ability to develop the best player in the game as only the player can go even further when fueled with burning desire and passion for the “Beautiful Game”. Let me give this example, in all other sports every who follows sporst know who are the up and coming payers because the players all sort that out in the Hood during daily pick-up and/or sandlot game. I have never heard of such a thing in soccer. ECNL is lost in the landscape of the socio-economically challenged community. Most people with talented and athletic kids have never even heard of it. That’s how big soccer has grown to be in the U.S. as it is less than a blip on the radar screen!
But all is not lost. Soccer is still growing and being introduced to all of our children, due to increasing financial revenue streams from television and the web along with the imploding marketing nightmares faced over recent years by other sports and especially the NFL.
Because of the Internet and the vast landscape which is known as “Social Media”, players no longer need systemic chaos or permission from anyone to do what they are now passionate about doing and now they are happy; full of joy and are at peace within themselves. That’s why we created this company. We created it for you and more importantly your children! They have seen the International game; know that they are not yet ready and are now looking to us to deliver the focus necessary for developing such talents and skills.
For them, the curtain/veil has been opened and the U.S. Soccer system (Wizard of Oz) is not a threat to them any longer. They don’t need systemic validation, because our “Standardization” of the game now gives them a clear and viable roadmap to success at all levels. They simply want to be better and to show what they then could in comparison to others in the game and can do on the field against the best that any system whether it be Club or High School has to offer and later on down the line, of course they plan to play advanced soccer, but with truly advanced players and only when they have earned the true right to do so.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Recent Case Study” tab_id=”1535612428533-26c59ee8-d187″][vc_column_text]1)- We just took a High School Student/Player that had already graduated and had NEVER played Club Soccer

On each page, which you can design or set up, we will also have an Apply Now Call to Action for that school and the link to that schools athletics questionnaire/form. Better yet, why don’t we simply create a form that is to be used by all schools in our system with the information collected being sent to the Coach and simultaneously saved on our server so that the Coaching staff can have access to it 24/7. I will send you the list of information needed when you ask for it. This is one of the tools that will attract both college recruiters, students and their families. We should also have an, “Add My School” button with a sign up form for schools or a name and phone number to call for services.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”How this area works” tab_id=”1535613272622-b6c60b1e-4d7c”][vc_column_text]A student or user signs up and selects their level of service, then they build a resume/player scored card and player profile for Coaches and college recruiters to view. We should add an opt-out button that allows each student to choose the services that they need with the flexibility to add such services at any time. For instance they should be able to sign up for our College Campus and opt out of Training Academy Score Card features. But after building a score card, they then should be prompted to upload their video or again opt out of uploading their video. A player that opts out of loading a video should be prompted/warned of the pitfalls of not doing so. They should also be periodically reminded by our app/system that they need to complete such services; that those services are still being held for them especially if such services are already paid for in their membership plan and we should then market our video production services to those potential paying clients. Also our company statistics should not include statistics of players that choose not to or Opt-out of up loading their soccer/sports videos when marketing and tracking athletic Scholarship results. Coaches who offer Scholarships usually either have to see the student on film or in person. Any thing else is a waste of time from a player perspective. In fact, our site can and also should be used by students just to apply for colleges. Many players should use the service as they progress in age and nears their graduation date in order to prepare for the college admissions process while simultaneous finding a program to play for early in the recruiting process. So from that perspective a video may not be needed when the student is in the process of just attending school. We should use all players when tracking acceptance and admissions rates based upon academics and admissions standards.
So once the Student Athlete Player Profile is complete, and their video is uploaded to our servers, they would then click the college connect button and it will blast their player suitcase (which will hold all player information) to all colleges and coaches in our system and within just seconds. Any broken links should require an immediate administrative response from our team.
I just had a thought, why don’t we design, at a later date, a special Online/Virtual College Campus Social Media Resource Center product and even offer to build for a fee each university a Soccer Up America College Campus Connection Video Vault (Facebook or Twitter LIKE page) on our server that also automatically uploads video of every player that selects to connect to their site and this would allow the coach or any player or visitor to view their site and connect on a more personal level with each other. Please remember that we want our video to be our own intellectual property. We also want to allow the player to have the option of individually selecting their schools of choice using click boxes while scrolling up and down our college campus university and college list.
So I would want to see a list with the names of the Schools; the level of the school; The City/State; the distance from the clients location and the Annual cost to attend and phone number of the Coach. I would like for our clients to be able to click on the schools and find out more information; see the link to their questionnaire or even online admissions application; a link to the NCAA Eligibility Center and a Link to the Federal Pell Grant Site. And it would be great to follow the email communication chain on that page once a player starts communicating with a school. I would add an area that allows the Coach to make a Scholarship offer that is tentative. That alone would make the site a huge deal. The Coach could then set a timer for the student to respond to the offer. Or Leave it open ended or can even reset it. The student should be able to ask for more time in order to make a decision and everything can be tracked or open ended – no other site has such a tool. So the student would be able to add their Pell Grant into that area and the app would add it to the Coaches offer then subtract it from the annual cost of attendance and the amount needed would be displayed, then the student could add their parents contribution or both can add the school’s academic or other organizational scholarship amounts. It will be a very resourceful student worksheet. This would help Coachers with their financial planning for each player as they could then quickly see the Player Financial health or situation.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Technical Skills Certifications” tab_id=”1535613399513-5040525c-639c”][vc_column_text](Information with links to each level and a get started button or call to action with multiple flexible payment options and a call to action for each level) See Attached Technical Skills Certification Player Scorecard and Grading Matrix.

- Soccer up America™ Player Profile and Standardization System
- Player Profile/Sports Résumé Database: The Resume has to have the badge or logo with their rating on it for each player. The score comes from the Standardization app that we will build and should be linked to the player profile/resume. It would be a really great value added service/tool if the schools requirement or even task like a 20 on the ACT was on the school unique page, but along side of it the student’s actual scores were in comparison and this would happen automatically for any school unique page which the student visits or opens. Maybe we should assign a special number that allows a Coach to view the financial awards of the student. If we had a list of Schools we could that have the student click on a specified school and see his player profile information as related to that specified school as in a school specific player profile page that track his information and progress for that specific school/college. I want to see your design first, but I like the idea of having the Tasks and Demographic Information displayed as Tables. The Page could have a list of links in a Demographic or Information Table or Area that takes the viewer to each clicked on or selected area/table. Our Player profile page should include the following information that can be viewed by both players and coaching staffs:
Personal Demographics:

1)- Parent #1 Name
2)- Parent #1 School

It would be a really great value added service/tool if the schools requirement or even task like a 20 on the ACT was on the school unique page, but along side of it the student’s actual scores were transposed or in comparison and this would happen automatically for any school unique page which the student visits or opens. This will allow the student to see where they stand. We will also then tell the students to simply apply no matter the comparison. Many times the Coach has the pull to bring in a student in a “Provisional” Status. I personally witnessed a Coach give a student an almost Full Ride (Scholarship) with a 1.9 GPA and on a “Provisional Condition” Status.
So if the cost of attendance for the school was $54k and the student input totaled $35k on the Financial Section of their Student Player Profile all parties involved could then swiftly work to address and resolve the financial shortage ie…Work Study; Dual Athlete Status; Loans; Student Summer Jobs; Church Support; Family Party; State College Funds; Grants or Other Scholarships and even Parental payment of the difference as a last resort. This information could be pulled in from a reliable free website or the Coach or Student should enter it as it will keep everyone on the same sheet of music. I have seen many nasty disagreements over financial accuracy issues resulting in students withdrawing their commitments and parents their financial support for the school.

4)- Master Technical Skills Badge Scoring/Grading Matrix: Also See T.A.R. Badge Description or Badge Scoring Matrix Word Documents. Also when a new skill is obtained or certified the player score will be automatically linked and changed on the badge displayed on the player’s personal profile. We need for this LOGOs to be Over the Top visually and we want everyone to want one. Each badge needs Dark Blue or Gold letter: “B”; “S”; “G”; “E”; or “M” which stands for the attained/achieved level of Certification centered in the white space under the star in the Far Right Corner of their player specific Badge. Try both ways. The “Letter” can be in a circle, box or just plain or raised. You decide as you have creative freedom. Once decided, we are to use the same format for each badge. Guys: Image is everything. Also, the player score/grade should be in a circle, box or just plain and on the badge under the “R” in America. The number should be linked to the Player Profile Badge that display the player certification level and should automatically change when a player achieves a higher score of certification level.
5)- Master Technical Skills Certification Badge Table: The details and limitations and exceptions are in the Player Scorecard Word Document. For example no player will be awarded a badge until the complete the number needed and attend either a Referee class or the first level Coaches Course. That alone will make the US Soccer association love us and possible certify that our badge can be worn at the club and High school levels.

They then would become certified as a Peer Coach for that move and any player can learn then receive a certification to teach an individual move which is another section that you must build in a huge revenue stream which allows soccer to spread exponentially across the country by students and peer coaches must report all external requests for training to our staff (general Liability). Failure to do so will result in immediate decertification and termination as a Certified Peer Trainer. Coaches could then be notified when a client signs-up for training in their area. They will also be paid once the session has been completed and verified via the receipt of collected training funds.
Trainers must upload a link to their License showing proof that they are registered with their local City and State Business Agencies as a business and should carry all recommended licenses and insurance or have trainees complete liability waivers, before training. Trainers will be subject to a National Background Check for which they must pay for and are considered Independent Contractors for IRS purposes and are not employees. Clients will also have access to the Trainers Video Vault showing them execute each move for which they are certified to train. But as an Independent business, a Personal Trainer has the right to Train others as they see fit. We are only providing access to Training Contacts with proof that the Trainer can execute a specific move.

Our Collegiate Admissions Progress Tracking and Notification Application will be placed here. Any player should be able to use this tool in order to chart their progress toward entering/being accepted into college as this will bring them back to our sight as it will facilitate and guide them and their player profile page should have a Progress Bar that tracks measures their process in a visual fashion. It would be great it the bar would be red until a certain level is reached then turn yellow and ultimately Green.
This will help families with goal setting. We could then set up email or automatic email campaigns to send to the player and their parents letting them know that a task needs to be completed. We could also then send marketing campaigns to all parties offering opportunities for them to sign up for our services and in order for them to use out tool they must allow us to send them marketing information. They should also have the capability to both turn on and off this feature with the click of a button.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][/vc_tta_accordion][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row disable_element=”yes”][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_tta_accordion active_section=”0″ collapsible_all=”true”][vc_tta_section title=”College Campus Admissions Resource Center” tab_id=”1535622156582-56337f12-1766″][vc_column_text](Bookmark this page link or call to action).
1)- Mentors and Counseling: Once a School is selected or even before, the student can request to be assigned or speak with their assigned Mentor or Counselor. Add this to the list also and add a place for the school, name and telephone number of their counselor and have the system make a database of such. This database will ultimately be a major valued added marketing tool for our company. Consider having your High School Counselor speak with your College Mentor.
2)- The College Application Process and The Admissions Tracking Tool: We want a completion meter on the player profile that charts their progress towards completion during the Admissions Process. I want it to be color Coded by percentage completed from 0-100: (areas tracked: Admissions Application; FSFA Pell Grant Application Completed; FASFA Award Received; Schools Selected Listed Entered on FASFA; NCAA Eligibility Center Completed and a spot for their number to be added; High School Transcripts sent to the College; SAT or ACT Scores Sent to their selected Colleges to which they have applied to so the there should be a page with schools listed and an indicator for each school applied to only; Student Loan (Optional Player Click Box); Housing Selected (Player Click Box); Tuition Reviewed (Player Click Box); H.S. Transcript to NCAA Clearing House/Eligibility Center; SAT/ACT Score to NCAA Clearing House/Eligibility Center; School Visited.
The player should also visit the schools that they have chosen to attend and as a rule of thumb, I tell all players to visit the school in which they plan to attend. That is not always done. But it should be a task that all parties involved should be highly focused on. All of the information should be linked and stored in their Student Briefcase so that they can blast the status to their Coaches with the click of a button. The player should review all deadlines for every task and should be periodically prompted if a task has a deadline. If a player or parent could enter the deadline and task into our app, it would be mind blowing if a task reminder in a calendar was texted to the student or their parents. Clients should be able to turn on and off this feature. The player should consider applying or asking for supplemental funds from other athletic programs in which they choose to compete in during their off season. That too should be on the list and tracked if it is identified as an option. For my own daughter it was the difference in her being in or out of college as she became a Dual Athlete in order to fund her attendance.
The Coach may also be able to click on a link in the Player Profile to view the information Contained in the Player Briefcase. This is s HUGE feature. Answers to task completion needs should be captured and held in the backend for review by our staff and even Coaches. When entering the site maybe a “You have tasks to complete” prompt with the tasks as listed should be presented and displayed. The player should then choose to skip or complete the tasks at a later date and time.
One more thing, add vaccinations and immunizations to the list with the names of the shots needed for women and men. They are mandatory for players. So Add under immunizations: Sickle Cell; EKG and Meningitis shots Part 1 and 2. In addition to the listed requirement most schools will require a physical by their school physician and even an onsite EKG so check with your school for their program specific requirement and remember that this is all geared towards protecting your health and their financial liability as recently player are now dropping dead during practice from overlook medical conditions.
1)- Plus add a Get Started/Sign-up link for Soccer Up America™ See College Campus Fee Schedule
2)- High School Transcripts: man High Schools do charge up to $2.00 or more for Official Transcript. I know that word (Official) sounds scary, but that simply mens unopened with a seal that was not broken so order as many as you need and pick them up from your High School immediately after graduation or as soon as they are ready. Also some schools now can send them to selected colleges; the NCAA and other agencies electronically so be sure to check with your local high school directly.
3)- Admissions Application Waivers: Many schools offer applications waivers for low Income or “Free Lunch” Program Participants as that program is income based and is used to let parents and students know that if you qualify for an income needs program, you can receive a limited number of waivers and at times many more given at the discretion of the Counselor based upon allocations and use. Check with the Senor Department or Academic or Athletic Directors.
4)- Medical Records; Physicals and Immunizations: Be prepared to provide proof of and/or take the following medical tests/procedures/immunizations: Sickle Cell; EKG and Meningitis shots Part 1 and 2. In addition to the listed requirement most schools will require a physical by their school physician and even an onsite EKG so check with your school for their program specific requirement and remember that this is all geared towards protecting your health and their financial liability as recently player are now dropping dead during practice from overlook medical conditions[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”College NCAA Eligibility Resource Center” tab_id=”1535622156721-58461172-a4a5″][vc_column_text]1)- NCAA Eligibility Center Home Page: All the Information that you need under one roof.

So when a player clicks on the recruiting letter link I want that letter to be automatically filled with the player’s information (Phone; Email and Name) which is linked to the information as found in the player’s profile. There also needs to be a button that allows the player to then see all of the schools that they have previously sent out their profiles to, then allowing them to click box the name or names of the school or schools that they would like to send or blast out (multiple schools) the selected recruiting letter to. The database would then also auto fill a response to each coach for each school selected.
If the student see that their information is not accurate, they then should be able to click a button that takes them to their player profile so that they can update the inaccurate information then return to their letter in order to send it with the new accurate information or maybe the tool will allow the user to change the information directly in the recruiting letter which, then updates their player profile automatically. 3)- Superscoring: Students seriously considering a school should immediately send their academic Transcripts and Standardized Test scores to each schools Office of Admissions. Students can choose which test scores to send and the scores sent should be the higher scores. Some schools, but not all, schools will super score tests. This means that they will take the highest scores from each test to give the student credit for the highest scores per subject matter area no matter the test or how many other times the tst was taken. They will give you credit for the highest area score and this is a game changing concept for students.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”College Campus Financial Aid Resource Center” tab_id=”1535622277147-fbae182e-3694″][vc_column_text](Information and Website Links: Bookmark this page)

IN fact we should have a worksheet or checklist that charts the player’s progress through 100% completion of all required and suggested tasks for acceptance and the award of scholarships or even other funds including Student Loans. This lets the Coach know that the player is serious and that they are not wasting their valuable time. Coaches absolutely adore players who call and they see their video and is hyped about and when they say we like you – we need to get the ball rolling and that player says Coach, it is all already done. That Coach is blown away.
Visit the college websites (Athletics Page) and find the recruiting section to submit your recruiting questionnaires. This gets your name into the school’s database of high school athletes that are interested in their program. This does not mean that you are getting recruited, but you are now on the mailing list to receive information about any upcoming games, camps, showcases, and breaking news. This is a good way for you to get acquainted with coaches because you can reply back to any of the material that they are sending you.
Here is what a few college coaches had to say about recruiting questionnaires: One coach said that if they ask a recruit to fill out the questionnaire and that recruit does not do it, then they see it as the recruit not being that interested; therefore, the coaching staff will back off on their recruiting efforts for that particular high school prospect. That means as a high school recruit, don’t be lazy! Take 5-10 minutes to fill out the questionnaire and send it back.
A coach told the a recruiting Staff that if they ask an athlete to fill out their questionnaire and the athlete blows it off, then the coach sees that as a sign of disrespect. College coaches have thousands of athletes to choose from, and coaches like to get the basic information from any athlete they are interested in. However, if an athlete doesn’t follow through on this simple task, college coaches look at it from a bigger picture. A college coach will take it that this is how the athlete is with all their responsibilities — blow them off. That is not how you want college coaches to view you.
Another coach said that if an athlete submits the questionnaire, then they know that they are interested regardless of what reports might say. Most college coaches have contacts and sources that can fill them in on certain recruits, so if a recruit wants to stay close to home then schools might back off some; however, if the recruit is filling out recruiting questionnaires, the school will continue to take an interest in them. Which means the athlete now has options! Going back to our question, why should you fill our recruiting questionnaires? The best answer is that you are giving yourself options. There is no blueprint for landing an athletic scholarship, and if you don’t have other options then you put yourself at risk for not getting a scholarship offer. Most schools now have the recruiting questionnaires online at their website.
How this section or area is to work. The current problem is that many as in 100s of schools all use different recruiting questionnaires and this is a time consuming nightmare for prospective student athlete applicants. They literally have to fill out a different questionnaire for each school. This makes little sense. Schools should also be mindful of the time constraints and academic needs of the student. Colleges seem to be forgetting or are not interested in considering that fact that Students don’t just apply for one college. So we should develop a database of schools, then use that database and allow the student to search for a school and/or scroll up and down our list and use a click box to select the schools to which they want to send their questionnaires to and after they fill out the questionnaires to click a Connect Button and also simultaneously blast their questionnaires out to all selected colleges. In fact, we should automatically build in questions and require those questions to be filled out during the Player Profile information gathering process. Then the profile along with a generated separate Questionnaire will be automatically sent to all schools or each individually selected school.[/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”College Campus Sports Free Forms and Useful Tools Resource Center” tab_id=”1535622965986-49ae5539-616f”][vc_column_text]1)- Game Video Analysis Worksheets with Instructions (Adobe Worksheet)

Then the app collects all of the players and sends them all to the coach of all schools selected at one time and updates daily and automatically whenever someone sends an email with player information that we ask for from the players when the sign up and build their like Name Location School Year; Current level of play; Awards and achievements and S.T.A.R. and SPR ratings. The BIG difference is that the player will show up on a list specific to that school and the coach would then be able to click on the name of a player to view the player’s Profile/Résumé. This will also include the access to the player’s ratings and certification levels.
The coach should then be able to click on an area and have the system reorder to fit the Coaches preference. If, for example he/she wants to see all Seniors, then he should be able to click the title “Graduation Year” (Class) at the top of or as located anywhere on the profile which would be one of the headers: Name; Class; Years Played; Advanced/Travel (Yes or No) which would show the club names and Coach Phone Numbers; State Games (Y/N); ECNL/ODP (Y/N); and Badge Earned and SPR Scorecard. We would collect this information from the player and include it on the player profile along with Questionnaire Sent (Y/N)’ Video Uploaded (Y/N) with link to video or video area if they have uploaded multiple videos
